Prospero from Precision Garage Doors replaced our garage door, motor, and all other parts. He was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. He not only went over the instructions I might need for the new door but also helped me set the opening function on my devices. I am so happy that I made an appointment with Precision Garage Door of Austin. We are at the beginning stage, but just the free consultation with Billy was a breath of fresh air. Learning that the builder did not install the garage door correctly and the issues we have been having with it is not user error was validating. The kind free help to get our garage door down was a nice bit of customer service for a free consultation. I haven't run across this with other vendors so I am very excited to hire them to correct our garage door problem. Consider this phase one of the review. More to come.

Phil Belfrage for precision garage door of Austin showed up and evaluated my problem and then worked out a cost that I was comfortable with and repaired my door in a quick, professional manner. he said explainer all my options in clear manner and then we came up with the best solution for me. Thanks Phil. I would recommend Precision. They were at my house within a couple of hours calling them and setting up the same day service.

Hit the garage with my car. The service man came out and explained he could not fix the issue due to the proprietary method originally used. He actually recommended another place to call. He stayed while I call them and told me what to say. He was super nice and guided me through what I should do. Then he waived the 75 service fee for coming out and did not charge me. He was super helpful and knowledgeable. What a great service technician. I would hire this company anytime.

I had a spring and cable break on a Sunday afternoon. Precession was easy to book an appointment with and they were on site by 9am Monday. As part of my confirmation I received a link that shared a bio and picture of my technician. It was comforting to know they take pride in who the send to you. Shane got right to work and gave me three options of service and the cost. I did end up choosing the most expensive and comprehensive fix, but the prices were reasonable from what I remember the last time I had a similar issue. Shane walked through the repair and gave me some tips on how to prolong the life of my garages door opener and simple things to do to keep the wheels and pulleys working smooth. I will use them again when my other spring breaks on my second door.

Well, in a nutshell, my garage door malfunctioned. It appeared one or more cables broke and the door jammed halfway down and would not move. The original installer would not return calls, texts, voice mails... crickets. After waiting two days (with my truck stuck inside the garage), I called Precision Garage Door and scheduled an appointment. What started out as an awful experience turned out amazing. Wes Newkirk was the technician they sent out. He was professional, personable, funny, and took the time to not only listen to what I had to say, but gave detailed explanations to my questions. I need to stress here...at no time did he ever try to upsell me on any additional work. He answered my questions about certain things and only provided quotes upon request. Wes then got the door fixed in record time with the upgrades I had requested. It was then discovered that the opener operating unit (A Genie Jack-Shaft) was in a word...deceased. Many attempts were made by Wes to revive it, but to no avail. Wes suggested multiple times that it might be in my best interest to try contacting the original installer. Seeing that the Genie unit was only 18 months old, it might still have some warranty left and I could save some money. I had no desire to speak to the original installer at this point. His no contact to my calls/texts was proof that having him come back was not worth any money I might save. I was obviously not important to him as a customer. Wes and I discussed a new opener and he got me a quote for a Lift Master Jack-shaft and we finalized the details. Precision's office personnel (Karen, I believe) got my follow up appointment scheduled within five minutes of Wes leaving. He was back in a couple of days with the new opener and another technician (Jeremy). They got the old opener removed, had the new one installed and even put in a keypad for me as a last minute request...and it was all done a very expeditious manner. I highly recommend Wes, Jeremy, Karen, and everyone at Precision. Great folks to work with, reliable, professional, and worth every penny I paid for service and peace of mind.

I had a garage door replacement project that was in the planning process for over eighteen months and Precision Garage Door of Austin was extremely patient and professional with me, checking in periodically, but not too much, answering all of my questions and providing all the info I needed in order to make the final decision to purchase. Purchasing and ordering process went smooth, as expectations and timelines were communicated clearly throughout the experience. Thanks to Billy of the door design team and Karen in the office for all their help with this. In my experience, very few multi-thousand dollar projects go off completely without a hitch. What's important is how the issue is addressed. General Manager Sean Lynch and his team did not disappoint. Technician Isiah was awesome through his professionalism, flexibility, and patience as we navigated a few bumps along the way; but it got done; this customer's expectations were met, and Precision Garage Door of Austin truly provided that valued customer experience. Wes arrived early. I did not really see him do anything, but the garage door opened when he tried it. He explained what the problem was and how to fix it. He also told me the sensor shoud have 1 green & 1 red light. He offered to have the call cancelled, but I asked him to do a service call. Which he did and also gave me two documents showing what it would cost to repair my door and what it would cost to replace it. I would not hesitate to recommend him.
