Paid a $75 service fee - no free estimates here - to Sean just to be told my motor was from a cheap company "from China" which it is not, that he could not help me or identify what the issue was and that I should probably get a new garage door starting at $1,200. Found someone else who serviced the "cheap company" and guess what - it only needed a service and a new motor. Pretty disgusted by the upsell, the $75 charge and the feeling of being ripped off.

Came to provide an estimate and charged $70 for the visit. Estimate is 2x what other businesses ask for a garage door spring replacement (2 for a double garage door). They also proposed replacing lots more than what is needed. The salesman/repair guy stated that 'everyone's rates went up since covid'. This is not true and I found those who haven't gone up that much. These guys are practically a scam. I would never work with them.

I ran into my garage door and technician Caleb was quick to come out and realign the garage door. Caleb demonstrated professionalism, courtesy, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door for any of your repair needs.

This was ALMOST a 5 star service. Almost because my technician did not tell me that when he installed my new garage door opener with their highest cost product that I would be losing functionality! I plainly told him that I always turn the power off to the opener when I am in the house. He failed to warn me that if he installed that particular door, it would beep constantly while the power was off. The best Precision would do was offer me a $100 refund & unplug the back-up battery. I paid over $250 for the backup battery! So 2 problems: No warning about loss of functionality, and an insufficient remedy.

Excellent service from Brian Rykowski. Saturday appointment made the same day. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and I am getting new garage doors. Price was fair and I used them before for a garage door opener. Also great service from Landon. Great install job!

Just had Precision Overhead Garage Door Service out to help us out with a busted garage door. Stephen Michael was fantastic. He was able to get our springs and rollers replaced and fix the shotty repair job done by the previous owners. Precision was able to come out the same day I called and completed the repair. I had fast same day repair service from Brian Rykowski from Precision Garage Door of Austin for a broken garage door. He gave us our options and we went with the repair of the existing door. He replaced broken springs and cables and even fixed bolts and other parts the builder had installed wrong. He aligned and oiled everything to work better than it ever had and was done in an hour! Wonderful service and I will definitely use them again in the future.

After having an awful experience with another company, Precision was awesome. Tech Caleb called twice to let me know when he would arrive. I had both of my garage doors replaced after 25 years. The technician, Shane Murphy, came out and made the initial assessment and provided me with a detailed estimate. It took about three weeks for the new doors, rails and other hardware to come in, but it was well worth the wait. Shane also did the installation. He is such a pro! He worked diligently for several hours to make sure that everything was just right. I am more than pleased and I highly recommend Shane and Precision Garage Door of Austin.

I had my garage door replaced. I didn't do any price shopping, so I have no idea if I got a good deal. BUT, the sales guy was great as was the installer, Mickey Wheeler, so even if I paid a higher price, they did what they said they would do and I have a door that doesn't sound like it's one more cycle from breaking down completely. I have four stars instead of five because this was my first encounter with them, so we'll see how it goes during the five year guarantee period. I'm estimating it took 4/6 weeks between sale and installation. I had a custom order so that's probably one reason. If you wait until your door dies, you might be waiting for a while. I was happy to wait, but I got in and out of my garage either no hassle while I waited.
