In the past my dad had used Precision, and I recently needed service for one of my garage doors. I had also heard an Ad recently so I picked up the phone and called on a Friday afternoon. They scheduled me in the same day. Patrick Day, the tech that came out was awesome. Very professional and actually called to see if it was okay to arrive early! Patrick arrived on time, gave the estimate to actually fix both springs on two garage doors. He had it completed in about 2hrs and even changed one of the light bulbs out on the third garage door for me. I could not have asked for a better experience! I will definitely use Precision in the future and will refer them to family and friends!

I selected Precision Garage Door of Austin because they have a 24/7 operator who I reached out to very early morning on Saturday before Easter. My door springs snapped late in the evening before and I was concerned about getting service the next day. I was told that a technician would arrive between 10:00am and noon. The technician called and stated that he finished his first appointment early and could arrive at my house by 9:00am if I desired. With storms in the forecast, I welcomed the early arrival. The technician gave me three estimates dependent upon additional preventative maintenance. The work was completed in about one hour and my garage door was better than before. It was a great experience from start to finish.

We were very satisfied with Patrick, he was knowledgeable and solved our garage door repairs - we called about noon and he was there about 3:30 and ready to address our problems . It took about an hour and everything was replaced and working great !

This morning my key pad would not work. After spending over an hour with two people at the genie help desk nothing worked I called precision and Jeremy was at my house within the hour he fixed all my problems within 30 minutes. Bad news, our garage door spring failed, and we knew it was going to be an expensive pain in the ass to get it repaired. But we were wrong. Good news, I contacted Precision Garage Door of Austin after reading their reviews online. They sent their technician, Stephen Michael, out to assess our problem that same day. He reviewed what parts had failed and how the system worked. He made suggestions as to what would have to be fixed to get it working again, and he gave us two additional options that would replace some additional older parts of the system. (Our system was more than 10 years old, likely more like 20.) We signed our contract on Friday, and they completed the work on Monday. We chose the second option with a 3-year warranty, and are happy with our decision.

Short Answer: Way over priced. Try to up sell unnecessary service. Full Story: We had a a broken spring and called Precison for a quote. Stating they are unable to quote over the phone, I agreed to the $75 truck roll fee, (that goes towards service, if you accept quote). The Service Tech/Salesman was nice and professional but started quoting prices over $1500 for the spring and a bunch of add-ons, stating they were required to get the 3 year warranty. Just the spring would be over $900 with only a 90 day warranty. I was able to get the spring repaired, by a reputable company, for $425. Which BTW, they quoted the price over the phone. When the tech was here, he inspected our door and let us know the other parts were in good shape. Precision's pricing is outrageous and, I feel robbed of that $75.

Great service and price from Precision ( we have used them when our garage door spring broke in the past ) . So glad we called them again . Gave us many options for our garage door, or if we wanted to replace our 19 year old motor, which we did go with some options offered. Great reasonable price for high quality service. We called on a Saturday and were able to get this taken care off on Sunday. Yes they do charge a service fee or to look at the problem, but everyone does ! We didn't have to pay that since they were repairing it. I can't thank them enough for taking care of this so quick as our vehicles never stay outside. We highly recommend them !! If rating had a 10 we would give them a 10 .

Couldn't have asked for better service. I called several competitors before asking AI search for highly rated garage door service in the Austin area. None of the companies had availability same day and a couple of them offered Saturday service with extra weekend charges. I called Precision Garage Door a little after 9 AM on Friday and the job was completed before 10:15 AM with no extra charge. Technician Josh Surfus was very respectful and informative AND a military veteran. Couldn't ask for more. Thanks for the help!
