Garage Door Repair Reviews in Round Rock / Pflugerville Area, TX (Updated June 2026)

The repair was handled in a professional manner. I had another person out from another company and didn’t want to do business with them because he was so unprofessional. I ended up paying $100 more for your service but felt good about it because your service person did everything he said he would do and had a great personality. I would call your company again.

alright, this is going to be a long one. So TL/DR: Precision Garage Door is awesome. -This story starts in 2019ish or so, I forget. I've been in Cedar Park almost 30 yrs and wanted to replace my original garage door. I wanted a new awesome garage door and I shopped Cedar Park Overhead and Precision Garage of Austin. I was looking for a nice upgrade. Both CP Overhead and Precision quoted wood look walnut colored metal garage doors with a heavy 2" thick insulated door. They were actually only like $100 apart on a $4,600 quote on these. So, basically the same pricepoint. BUT, Precision offered 12mts, no interest options and CP Overhead did not. Almost 5K and I could use their loan and not have to take my money out of the bank. To me, that's a no brainer on free interest....that might be where I made the best decision, but as time passed, I know it was. I've had a couple issues over the past 7ish years where Precision just shows up and takes care of them, warranty should I say, and it's done. A couple years ago my indoor wall button was not working, Precision rep shows up, replaced and done. This morning my garage door wouldn't open. Rep Jeremy Malek shows up by Noonish and spring had broken, fixed and done with no charge warranty included. Yep, I made the right decision to go with Precision Garage Door. It's all about Customer Service folks. -John Klein

On 11/04/2024 Precision Installed Powder-Coated Torsion Spring, Center Bearing Plate, end bearing, 5"Precision Green Roller on garage door. Yesterday Patrick came out and said I needed 8'LM Chain 1-Beam Rail. He went back to the shop and came back to house and installed new. But I initially called your company for the noise when closing garage door. With the new rail installed it still make the noise. I was told that it is too early to adjust the spring. But in my opinion the noise is still coming from the springs I have a Guarantees hardware and workmanship for 5 years. The noise started a couple of weeks ago. I lubricate springs, rollers, and door regularly. I'm glad your company came out yesterday because today I am having 3-MRI image done on my head and neck. We need to deal with the problem next week but sent someone that know how to adjust the springs in my option. It is 10 am and I can talk to someone until 11 am today 04-24-26

Called about my garage door opener not working due to thunderstorms. They quickly assigned someone to come out. Michael was very courteous, found my problem and gave me several options. Told him I would do some research and get back to him with my decision. After making my choice he set me up for the next day to replace the the entire unit. He provided information about what to do and what to look out for, Not only about the new unit but with the rest the hardware that did not need to be replaced and some recommended maintenance. He even cleaned up some of my garage. Michael was very knowledgeable and nice. I say he went beyond what I expected. He did a great job!

In the past my dad had used Precision, and I recently needed service for one of my garage doors. I had also heard an Ad recently so I picked up the phone and called on a Friday afternoon. They scheduled me in the same day. Patrick Day, the tech that came out was awesome. Very professional and actually called to see if it was okay to arrive early! Patrick arrived on time, gave the estimate to actually fix both springs on two garage doors. He had it completed in about 2hrs and even changed one of the light bulbs out on the third garage door for me. I could not have asked for a better experience! I will definitely use Precision in the future and will refer them to family and friends!

I selected Precision Garage Door of Austin because they have a 24/7 operator who I reached out to very early morning on Saturday before Easter. My door springs snapped late in the evening before and I was concerned about getting service the next day. I was told that a technician would arrive between 10:00am and noon. The technician called and stated that he finished his first appointment early and could arrive at my house by 9:00am if I desired. With storms in the forecast, I welcomed the early arrival. The technician gave me three estimates dependent upon additional preventative maintenance. The work was completed in about one hour and my garage door was better than before. It was a great experience from start to finish.

Bad news, our garage door spring failed, and we knew it was going to be an expensive pain in the ass to get it repaired. But we were wrong. Good news, I contacted Precision Garage Door of Austin after reading their reviews online. They sent their technician, Stephen Michael, out to assess our problem that same day. He reviewed what parts had failed and how the system worked. He made suggestions as to what would have to be fixed to get it working again, and he gave us two additional options that would replace some additional older parts of the system. (Our system was more than 10 years old, likely more like 20.) We signed our contract on Friday, and they completed the work on Monday. We chose the second option with a 3-year warranty, and are happy with our decision.
