Mickey Wheeler, technician extraordinaire, inspected the doors and provided a detailed description of repairs and costs as well as showing me problem areas. Both doors were working like brand new once Mickey finished. In addition, he programed all the openers and showed me how to do this. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door of Austin.

Caleb came out to see what was wrong with my garage door that needed repair. Quickly diagnosed it and told me what my options were as far as repairing or replacing the unit. Had a broken spring. I could see it. The work was good and fast. Only complaint is that the lady on the phone told me it would be $279 for a broken spring. Once the tech arrived he said they have to replace both springs (including the non broken one) and I need some other $100 part, plus bearings, bla bla bla, total price ended up being $822 minimum, all the way up to over $1200 if I wanted a warranty and other stuff that sounded like fluff. Was pretty heated about that since $279 is fine, but if I'd know I was going to be out nearly $1000 I would have shopped around. Felt like a grift. Will for sure try someone else next time.
