Garage Door Repair Reviews in Austin, TX (Updated July 2026)

My decision was to replace the springs, install a new garage door opener and remotes. All the existing equipment was old and tired. I'm so glad I did install the new system. Love the new features; the light that comes on automatically when I open the garage door (from the kitchen). The door features were so quiet when opening or closing I didn't realize the door was moving!

One spring failed on our 10 year old garage door trapping one car inside. We selected Precision online or a next morning appointment because of local office and good reputation. Texts notified us of the technician's arrival status. At 9am Landon arrived and checked out the door giving us four options including minimal cost spring/bearing replacement up to a rebuild that renewed all except the door, tracks, and rails. We chose the next step up to renew the drum bearings. The door was fixed within one hour of our decision. Very happy with the response time and options given.

Recently moved into our new home in Barton Creek. The garage door opener was flashing "Needs Suggested Maintenance, see Owner's Manual". I was getting ready to leave my home at 6:45 AM when I saw that one of my garage door springs had broken. I called Precision Garage Doors immediately (open 24 hours) and was able to schedule a repair call for between 10 and noon the same day. The technician showed up within the window and gave me three options form repairing the door and tuning up both my 15 year old doors. Took the option with a 10 year warranty. Great work, competitive price, and no worries for at least 10 years!
