Wes from Precision Garage Doors was professional and efficient. He dropped by on a Saturday with a truck full of parts and had my door spring and bearings repaired in just over an hour. He explained what happened, what my repairs options were and then got to work. Im very happy with the results.

I am so happy that I made an appointment with Precision Garage Door of Austin. We are at the beginning stage, but just the free consultation with Billy was a breath of fresh air. Learning that the builder did not install the garage door correctly and the issues we have been having with it is not user error was validating. The kind free help to get our garage door down was a nice bit of customer service for a free consultation. I haven't run across this with other vendors so I am very excited to hire them to correct our garage door problem. Consider this phase one of the review. More to come.

Phil did a great job doing the garage door repair; however, I think the Precision Garage Door prices for most of their parts are a rip-off, which made the job cost about $300 more than what it should have been. So, my low rating on Precision Garage Door is not because of their skilled labor but because of their outrageous high part prices!!!

Paid a $75 service fee - no free estimates here - to Sean just to be told my motor was from a cheap company "from China" which it is not, that he could not help me or identify what the issue was and that I should probably get a new garage door starting at $1,200. Found someone else who serviced the "cheap company" and guess what - it only needed a service and a new motor. Pretty disgusted by the upsell, the $75 charge and the feeling of being ripped off.

Came to provide an estimate and charged $70 for the visit. Estimate is 2x what other businesses ask for a garage door spring replacement (2 for a double garage door). They also proposed replacing lots more than what is needed. The salesman/repair guy stated that 'everyone's rates went up since covid'. This is not true and I found those who haven't gone up that much. These guys are practically a scam. I would never work with them.

What an awesome experience. I knew I wanted to update and get my garage door checked because my old system was very temperamental, squeaky, and probably 15-20 years old. When I went online they had same day availability, called me to double check, and arrived with all the parts needed to fully update my garage door without replacing the door itself. New hinges, rollers, springs, tensioning devices, drive unit, motion sensors, the works. Patrick came out, did a great job describing what parts were failing (or susceptible for it), which were outright broke, and which were rusty or installed incorrectly. The result was a full overhaul, brand new excellent system-all done in less than 5 hours of me having the Id like to have someone out to check my garage door thought. Would definitely recommend their services.

Hit the garage with my car. The service man came out and explained he could not fix the issue due to the proprietary method originally used. He actually recommended another place to call. He stayed while I call them and told me what to say. He was super nice and guided me through what I should do. Then he waived the 75 service fee for coming out and did not charge me. He was super helpful and knowledgeable. What a great service technician. I would hire this company anytime.

I had a spring and cable break on a Sunday afternoon. Precession was easy to book an appointment with and they were on site by 9am Monday. As part of my confirmation I received a link that shared a bio and picture of my technician. It was comforting to know they take pride in who the send to you. Shane got right to work and gave me three options of service and the cost. I did end up choosing the most expensive and comprehensive fix, but the prices were reasonable from what I remember the last time I had a similar issue. Shane walked through the repair and gave me some tips on how to prolong the life of my garages door opener and simple things to do to keep the wheels and pulleys working smooth. I will use them again when my other spring breaks on my second door.
