We had a great experience with Jeremy. He showed up on time, was super polite, and clearly knew his stuff. He quickly figured out the issue, explained it in simple terms, and got the repair done fast. He didn't try to upsell, and made sure everything was working perfectly before he left. Definitely recommend asking for him if you're booking with Precision.

Wow! Scheduled an appointment online to fix garage door due to trouble opening. Josh came out so fast. Found what was wrong, but I decided to have him install new one since mine was old. No pressure. He was extremely knowledgeable, skilled and friendly. Set up garage door openers, car and outside key pad. Extremely polite. Have him back in a heart beat.

Bad news, our garage door spring failed, and we knew it was going to be an expensive pain in the ass to get it repaired. But we were wrong. Good news, I contacted Precision Garage Door of Austin after reading their reviews online. They sent their technician, Stephen Michael, out to assess our problem that same day. He reviewed what parts had failed and how the system worked. He made suggestions as to what would have to be fixed to get it working again, and he gave us two additional options that would replace some additional older parts of the system. (Our system was more than 10 years old, likely more like 20.) We signed our contract on Friday, and they completed the work on Monday. We chose the second option with a 3-year warranty, and are happy with our decision.

My garage door broke Sunday morning, I got online and made an appointment for Monday morning since my garage door wouldn't close all the way. Jeremy called when he was on his way and even showed up early to my appointment. He assessed this issue and fixed it quickly!

Excellent service today in replacing my garages opener/motor. The technician, Joshua Surfus, was knowledgeable, efficient, took time to explain things and answer my questions, and was friendly and kind. I was also really happy that I was able to get same-day service after I contacted them.

When I tried to open garage door this morning, I heard a loud bang, but it opened. Precision was able to send someone out within an hour or so. I expected a several day wait.

Shane was very helpful. I have been having issues with my new garage door opener for the last couple of weeks. On his visit last week he thought he had it issue corrected however, that did not turn out to be the case. He came back earlier today and had to change out some of the sensors. He was very punctual and got the problem identified and corrected.

Short Answer: Way over priced. Try to up sell unnecessary service. Full Story: We had a a broken spring and called Precison for a quote. Stating they are unable to quote over the phone, I agreed to the $75 truck roll fee, (that goes towards service, if you accept quote). The Service Tech/Salesman was nice and professional but started quoting prices over $1500 for the spring and a bunch of add-ons, stating they were required to get the 3 year warranty. Just the spring would be over $900 with only a 90 day warranty. I was able to get the spring repaired, by a reputable company, for $425. Which BTW, they quoted the price over the phone. When the tech was here, he inspected our door and let us know the other parts were in good shape. Precision's pricing is outrageous and, I feel robbed of that $75.
