My garage door spring broke and I was in a bit of an emergency situation. They were very quick to respond. They were out first thing in the morning and had my garage door repaired within an hour. Extremely professional staff. Very knowledgeable technician, very thorough and explained all of the work he was doing, why, and offered a few options. Really appreciated it and would definitely use them again.

My garage door opener quit working on a Friday morning. I set up an appointment online with Precision and Shane was at my house within 2 hours. He spotted th problem immediately and he gave me a reasonable quote. He came back Monday afternoon and installed a new opener. I couldn't be happier with the service I received.

We asked Precision Garage Door of Austin to assist in evaluation of a garage door that was becoming very loud. Our technician was Daniel Ritchie. He arrived on time and was very courteous and informative. He performed an inspection of our door and made a recommendation for a new, stronger lift support bar for the door. He also explained that there were multiple bolts that needed to be retightened and the track and rollers needed to be well lubricated. Once the work was done he demonstrated the difference in how the garage door performed after his maintenance. Perfect. I could not be happier. I am an older disabled veteran and his patience with me helping to explain everything made all the difference in the world. This is the second time that we have used Precision Garage Door of Austin, and there is no question, hands down, they are our go to garage door company for work on our very large garage door. I could not have been happier.

I dont usually write reviews. But after today, Id shout Joshs name from the rooftops if my garage door hadnt been stuck shut like Fort Knox before he showed up. This man, no, this legend, showed up like a one-man Army Ranger unit of garage repair. Charismatic? Off the charts. Friendly? Like hed known me since kindergarten. Knowledgeable? Im pretty sure this guy has a PhD in Garage Doorology. I gave him an impossible mission: a Frankenstein door with more issues than a soap opera, and somehow, in mere hours, Josh resurrected it like a mechanical Lazarus. Josh didnt just fix the door. He liberated it. He exorcised the gremlins. He restored peace and order to my home. Promote this man. Build a statue of him in front of your office. JOSH FOR PRESIDENT 2028. 11 out of 10 stars. Would break my door again just to hang out with him.

Everything about my experience with Precision was fantastic. After leaving messages with two other companies and getting no response or returned phone calls, I found the Precision website. I used the chat agent to request a same day appointment to repair a spring that broke over the weekend. The agent gave me a same day commitment and the office texted me within minutes with a formal appointment that same morning. The technician Michael was professional, efficient, and ready to work with. I had him change out equipment on both doors, which he expertly did. Pricing was not cheap but was fair. All in all, one of the best experiences Ive ever experienced with a home service company. I cant recommend them highly enough! Great job Precision and thank you!

Ive used precision several times and as a loyal customer, I was pretty disappointed today. I had a semi emergency garage situation. Precision couldnt see me until tomorrow morning, which is understandable. However, my garage was not functioning, didnt seem connected to power, and could not close in the meantime. Im a single woman who lives alone. My garage and home were no longer secure. Precision offered me emergency services for 8pm this same evening for a $250 charge. While that wouldve been many hours later, I did consider it. But the woman on the phone didnt offer me any solution to help secure my home in the meantime while I wait for either appointment. My garage was just to be left open. She emphasized how they wont offer any help over the phone. I scheduled an 8am for the next day. But I called Gator garage company shortly after and made an appointment with them the following day HOWEVER they were super kind and walked me through safely securing my garage door in the meantime. They prioritized my needs and safety. They gave me peace of mind by helping me and troubleshooting with me over the phone while I wait. They went above and beyond for me. I am grateful to Gator and disappointed that Precision didnt seem to care that my home wouldnt have been secure with the garage wide open for many hours, potentially 24hours.

The technician, Shane Murphy, was outstanding. Very professional and took the time to talk me through everything. No pressure tactics to upgrade or do more work than was necessary. Completed the work in a timely manner then explained what all he did and gave suggestions for some ongoing maintenance to keep the door functioning at top performance.

had a faulty motor and even on a Saturday Josh at precision was able to not only come out and take a look at it but put in a new system that is amazingly quieter and feels a lot safer fantastic installation and support. Love everything about it.
