I was getting ready to leave my home at 6:45 AM when I saw that one of my garage door springs had broken. I called Precision Garage Doors immediately (open 24 hours) and was able to schedule a repair call for between 10 and noon the same day. The technician showed up within the window and gave me three options form repairing the door and tuning up both my 15 year old doors. Took the option with a 10 year warranty. Great work, competitive price, and no worries for at least 10 years!

I chose Precision Garage Door from an online search because they were proximate to where I live and they received generally favorable online reviews. I was impressed with their rapid response, and Brian, the technician, was at my house within 90 minutes, even though my garage door situation, as I explained to the dispatcher, was non-urgent. Brian, was an exceptional technician and went right to work after a quick assessment of my problem, and resolved the issue within an hour. Where I felt disappointed was the cost of the repair. The service charge was reasonable, but the mark up on the parts was 800 percent of what I could have purchased OEM parts on Amazon for. Also, after diagnosing the issue, it would have been much better if Brian would have told me first what he was going to charge me for the parts and service, instead of just disassembling the sensor unit and installing a new one and handing me what I felt was an over-priced invoice, considering the cost of the part and the relatively short time it took to complete the job (

I asked Home Depot service manager for a recommendation, and he mentioned Precision. I called them and got a time scheduled immediately. They came on time and completely refurbished my door with new springs, cables, and other hardware. It works great now and I love having the 10-year warranty to go with that!

On 11/04/2024 Precision Installed Powder-Coated Torsion Spring, Center Bearing Plate, end bearing, 5"Precision Green Roller on garage door. Yesterday Patrick came out and said I needed 8'LM Chain 1-Beam Rail. He went back to the shop and came back to house and installed new. But I initially called your company for the noise when closing garage door. With the new rail installed it still make the noise. I was told that it is too early to adjust the spring. But in my opinion the noise is still coming from the springs I have a Guarantees hardware and workmanship for 5 years. The noise started a couple of weeks ago. I lubricate springs, rollers, and door regularly. I'm glad your company came out yesterday because today I am having 3-MRI image done on my head and neck. We need to deal with the problem next week but sent someone that know how to adjust the springs in my option. It is 10 am and I can talk to someone until 11 am today 04-24-26

Called about my garage door opener not working due to thunderstorms. They quickly assigned someone to come out. Michael was very courteous, found my problem and gave me several options. Told him I would do some research and get back to him with my decision. After making my choice he set me up for the next day to replace the the entire unit. He provided information about what to do and what to look out for, Not only about the new unit but with the rest the hardware that did not need to be replaced and some recommended maintenance. He even cleaned up some of my garage. Michael was very knowledgeable and nice. I say he went beyond what I expected. He did a great job!

Daniel Richie came to our home to replace the seals on the bottom of the garage doors, and he also performed service on the doors replacing loose bolts, cleaning the rollers, etc. He was professional and yet had no problem answering any questions I had. He also taught me quite a bit about the openers and just how the doors themselves work. I will be requesting him as my technician whenever we need service on the doors. I had our opener installed a year ago. I called on a weekend and was able to get a tech out here the same day. Put in a new opener and the works. The tech was awesome and explained everything that needed to be done in words a customer could understand. This company is amazing.
