Due to recent power surges, my garage door started opening itself periodically. Additionally, although it was synced with my security app, that sync also was disrupted, so I was not even aware that the door was open. I called Precision Garage Door one day and the next day at the scheduled time, Daniel arrived and installed a new garage door opener. He was excellent at the technical part, of course, but in addition, he was patient with me and actually went the extra mile to work through a difficult process of getting the new system and the security app to work together. I would never hesitate to use Daniel or Precision again. Thank you for an "above and beyond" experience!

Excellent service and super quick response. I called Precision late last night 07/01/2025 and they had a field manager at our location this morning at 10am on 07/02/2025. Bryan Rykowski called me on his way (great communication), arrived promptly, and was extremely professional. Super nice guy! That goes a long way in my book. He was able to diagnose our problem super quick and provide an accurate quote within minutes. He had the replacement parts on his truck and was able to get us back into business within an hour. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door of Austin and fully intend to do business, as needed, in the future. Thanks Brian!!!

Avoid these guys at all costs. We had a torsion spring break on our two-car garage and called them out for a quote. The guy proceeded to tell me that I needed to replace everything and even suggested I go ahead and do another garage door. Gave me quotes for over $3,000 for the single garage and $5,000 if I did the other one as well. The prices of the quoted parts were outrageously inflated. Quoted me a new garage door opener for $1,200 that retails for $497. Quoted me $320 for 10 new rollers (totally unnecessary) that retail for less than $50. $212 for two new drums that retail for $20. Literally everything in their quote was inflated by at least 200-300%. We ended up getting a quote to fix the door from another local company. They told us the recommended changes from Precision were all completely unnecessary and did the job for less than $1,000. This company is a complete grift and our experience with them was horrible. Also be aware that they charge $75 just to come out and give an estimate.

Joshua Surfus arrive on time or a little early and made the spring and bearing replacements in less than one hour. He did good work and was very professional. The only comment I would have is the national dispatch I called did not give a correct price for what is required in Texas, two springs on a double garage door. The price was significantly higher than their phone estimate. I would use Precision again.

After evaluating the issue, Patrick clearly explained what was wrong and walked me through both short-term and long-term repair options. I appreciated the transparency and professionalism. Once I made my decision, he completed the repair efficiently and did an outstanding job. Not only did he fix the problem, but he also took the time to explain how everything workedfrom the new door motor to the remotes and accessories. He even gave me helpful tips on how to maintain the door and what to do if I ever need service again. I highly recommend Patrick Day and the entire Precision Garage Door Service team in Austin. Jeremy showed up right on time, quickly diagnosed the issue (generally poor installation - track alignment, lubrication, etc.), and fixed it. He clearly explained what he was going to do and, after he was done, what work was performed. We settled the charge and he was on his way. While he was here and gone in under an hour, the work was carefully done. I appreciate that he was both diligent and careful.

This would be a 5 star review if this was only for the techs that came out to install/check the doors. These are professionals to the highest degree. Isaiah White was excellent when it came to not only installing the door, but he was also great with customer service. I felt extremely at ease with him in my garage, installing for 2 hours. My only critic of this business... is ordering the door itself. I feel that there should be a form you fill out to order a door and then the sales team follows up. I had no idea how to actually order a door after a tech let me know about my options. Otherwise, even with the confusion on ordering, I will still recommend this business in the Lago Vista area any day. Thank you!
