Precision did an excellent job of replacing the door, recognizing I had already replaced the motor in 2021 and that it did not need to be replaced thereby saving me financially. Patrick Day was the tech who came to my home today to assess the health of my garage door. The door was displaying erratic behavior lately. Turned out my old motor could no longer handle the new insulated door installed last April. So, I agreed to replace the old with a stronger new, and boy! Am I glad I did! Thank you, Patrick/Precision, for taking care of my situation and explaining everything clearly. The new motor and controls are awesome.

My garage door broke three days before Christmas, and Precision Garage Door came out the very next day. Phil lookedd at the door, explained the problem, proposed a solution, and provided a quote. Phil came less than 2 hours after our call about our door not closing. He immediately identified the problem and was ready to change our garage door opener with 3 different models that he had in the truck. Less than an hour later, he was done with the new installation. 20 year old garage doors needed a serious makeover. I'm so happy to discover Precision Garage Door of Austin! They sent several reminders which appreciate. Mickey Wheeler, technician extraordinaire, inspected the doors and provided a detailed description of repairs and costs as well as showing me problem areas. Both doors were working like brand new once Mickey finished. In addition, he programed all the openers and showed me how to do this. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door of Austin.

It was a great experience. We had a torsion spring break. Caleb came out, and take care of us . He was prompt, was very personable, knowledgeable, and he knows his stuff. Caleb came out to see what was wrong with my garage door that needed repair. Quickly diagnosed it and told me what my options were as far as repairing or replacing the unit. Decided to just have it repaired for now and he fixed it up in about 30-40 minutes. Garage works perfectly now and runs quieter and smoother than before.

Had a broken spring. I could see it. The work was good and fast. Only complaint is that the lady on the phone told me it would be $279 for a broken spring. Once the tech arrived he said they have to replace both springs (including the non broken one) and I need some other $100 part, plus bearings, bla bla bla, total price ended up being $822 minimum, all the way up to over $1200 if I wanted a warranty and other stuff that sounded like fluff. Was pretty heated about that since $279 is fine, but if I'd know I was going to be out nearly $1000 I would have shopped around. Felt like a grift. Will for sure try someone else next time.
